Dry-cleaning shops
Dry-cleaning software for the piece, the tag, and the rail
A dry-cleaning ticket is a list of pieces
Dry-cleaning software has to follow garments, not just a sale. A customer drops two jackets and a dress. Each piece can have its own service and its own price. The pieces leave the counter, go through processing and a quality check, and come back to a rail where the person at the desk has to find them by name, phone, or ticket. If the record is a handwritten tag, the shop is searching paper. EaziTags treats that as the order: one customer, one or more pieces, a tag on each piece, and a status the front desk can see.
The product is for dry-cleaning stores and for combined shops that also take laundry lots. It is not industrial linen and it is not hotel laundry. Those businesses move bulk by account and by route. A neighbourhood dry cleaner moves individual garments the customer expects to see again.
From the counter to the tag
Staff find the customer by name or phone, or create the customer, and start the order without leaving the flow. Piece pricing is one of the units the catalog supports, along with kilogram, pound, and bag. The price written onto the order stays on that order. If the book price changes next week, this jacket is still the price the customer agreed.
Each piece gets a unique tag with a QR code. Staff preview it, print from the browser, or download a PDF. The shop does not have to own a label printer or a barcode scanner for the tag to exist. The customer does not install an app. They can open a tracking page from the link the shop sends. The article on QR code garment tags walks through that print-and-track step on its own.
Processing, quality check, and the rail
The shop sequence is configurable. The sequence the product uses as the example is Received, Processing, Quality Check, and Ready. Cancelled sits outside that line, so a piece that will not be done is not mixed into the rail. Quality check is the step where someone looks at the garment before it is called ready. Ready is a queue of orders waiting for collection, which is the list to open when the customer is standing at the desk.
A combined shop can put dry-cleaning pieces and a wash-and-fold lot on the same order. The pieces still get piece tags. The lot is the bag or the weight. The front desk does not split the visit into two systems. Wash-and-fold software is the page for the lot side of that order.
Payment and the call that the clothes are ready
Many dry cleaners take a deposit and the rest on collection. EaziTags records a full payment or a partial payment and keeps the remaining balance on the order. Receipts and invoices are part of that record. There is no card gateway. The software knows the balance. It does not charge the card.
Email can go out when the order is created and when it is ready. Staff can open WhatsApp with a ready message and the tracking link. Pickup and delivery are fields on the order and a driver job list, for shops that send a driver instead of waiting for the customer to return. Outstanding balances show up in the reports, next to sales and payments, so the rail and the till are the same order.
Who uses it in the shop
Roles are Owner, Manager, Front Desk, Processing, and Driver. A processor does not need the same screen as the person taking money. More than one location is supported, and each shop’s data stays separate. The owner registers, names the business, and completes setup without a consultant.
The full feature list is on the laundry management software features page. The same sequence, written as the path from customer to collection, is the dry-cleaning counter flow article. The case study is the product described as the store operating system Core Bracket ships for this counter.
A useful check before calling a dry-cleaning program live is the product’s own list: the owner can price the real piece services, take an order that may also include a laundry lot, print or download the tags, move the pieces to Ready, notify the customer, take whatever balance remains, mark the order collected or delivered, and see today’s sales beside what is still unpaid. If any of those steps still lives only on paper, the software is not covering the rail yet.
